Birth Plan Consultations
The consultation is a time for you to meet with a local birth professional to discuss what options you have with your medical care, including birthing locations, how to hire the right care provider and opinions on and referrals to local medical professionals, hospitals, homebirth providers and other valuable community resources.
We’ll cover your unique labor and delivery needs; Plans for pain management and the options available to you. We’ll practice labor positions and other methods for drug free pain relief. What medication options you have for childbirth. We’ll discuss the stages of labor and what to expect, common procedures, when and why they’re preformed, their risks vs benefits and your alternatives. Together, we’ll build your birth plan.
During this time I am happy to address personal questions regarding your pregnancy and childbirth plans.
This time is intended for families who may not want a doula in their labor room, but want all the benefits of a doulas knowledge while preparing for their perfect birth experience. If you change your mind consultation fees can be applied to my doula package.
In addition to my time, all families receive access to the client only portal where you’ll have everything you need right at your finger tips to answer common questions, links to research studies and news articles and so much more.
Investment $25.00/hour (2 hour minimum per visit)
