Holistic Childbirth Education: This innovative and exciting class approaches childbirth as an experience that touches family in multiple ways -- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In addition, we look at how culture, social, and political factors influence birth, birth rituals, and current obstetrical practices. This class is very hands on -- we utilize lots of exercises, games, and hands on projects to help improve memory of important concepts. Partners will learn techniques to help soothe, comfort and calm the laboring mom. We will cover interventions and the birth process -- you will learn how appropriately timed and used interventions can improve birth while inappropriately used interventions can interfere with the process leading to more interventions. The goal is to help families feel prepared for the joys and challenges of giving birth and for working well with their support team.

Advanced Comfort Techniques for Labor: This class is for couples who want more hands-on practice on techniques designed to enhance comfort for the laboring woman. Tools will be provided for practice and use. Please dress comfortably and bring a couple of pillows and an exercise ball if you have one. This is NOT a childbirth education class. This is a great refresher class for couples who have given birth or for couples who want more practice than their childbirth class gave them.

Happiest Baby on the Block: Learn how to soothe and calm fussy babies and help encourage better sleep. Dr. Karp's revolutionary techniques help parents feel competent and capable with the 5 S's. Class includes DVD and student pack. Class Time is 2 hours.

Breastfeeding 101: Learn about the basics of breastfeeding, common problems and solutions, pump choices, handling and storage of breastmilk, going back to work and educating your child care provider on safe breast milk handling practices. Class Time is 2 hours.

All GROUP classes are held at Babymoon Boutique, 1120 Wolfrum Rd, 102, St Charles, MO 63304
Private classes will take place in your home and will be taught by Jamie Bodily. All classes are subject to cancelation and will be rescheduled to best accommodate the participants of the specific class. Classes may be cancelled or rescheduled due to illness, inclement weather and doula clients requiring our presence for their labors. Classes may be completely canceled if below normal, low attendance is expected. You will be notified by phone and/or email of any class changes at our earliest convenience.
